The Plan articulates the urban territory Systems: homes, places of production, central places, environment, mobility. Under the Tuscan regional law, it clarifies the characteristics that define the "status of the art" and the different dimensions of "elementary organic territorial units." The technical standards of achievement are the place of convergence of the different dimensions of the Plan, implicit index (constructability, distance between buildings, coefficient of land ...) and explicit (charts and exemplary projects).
