The vision for the Butte Rouge is made after an attentive reading of the existing situation. The vision image new figures connecting the neigbourhood to the strategic transformation in progress: from public spaces to big landscapes, from typologies to phasing.
Three big landscapes are composing the support of the Butte Rouge project:
1 The forest landscape, declined in different forms
2 The plateau landscape, a lawn planted with big trees, where permeability in maximum
3 The valley landscape, a grammar connected to the necessity of terraces with a intimate character
The project propose very light interventions in the open spaces of the garden city, in attemp to reinterpretate the ambition of Andrè Riousse, his first designer.
